25% Wild-cross Peruvians w/ Pearl, Blue and Albino:  Current order are being chosen from this actual group.

75% Wildcross - Parents are a 50% wild Peruvian carrying Blue and Veil crossed to a 100% wild Manacapuru angelfish. Notice the nice iridescence already developing.

Wild-crosses: It's not the easiest thing to get the initial cross of an all-wild fish with a domestic, but once you do, the results are amazing. The resulting fish are simply better in almost every respect. We've already done the hard work with these. The upcoming generations from these crosses will spawn almost as readily as most domestic angelfish. We have chosen Peruvian scalare for these crosses, because we believe they are the most beautiful variant of wild angelfish. Peruvians have a lot of yellow on the body and reddish hues in the fins. They also tend to have a lot of body speckles. The ventral are blue and curve in a half-moon shape. Many of these traits pass to the F1 crosses.

Peruvian Wild/Platinum: The Peruvian wild has a lot of iridescence naturally. Combing this with Platinum should result in a special strain.  These are the F1's, so they won't develope the extra iridescence until the next generation.  However, the hard part is getting the first cross into wild. We've done that for you.  The male in the below video is a huge fish ~ 4.5" body.  The female is only about 8 months old, yet spawning well with this wild scalare.  Their offspring are incredible.  With the backlighting in the pair video, the colors are not shown.  They look much more colorful when light is reflecting off the front.

The pair in the video below is producing all of our Platinum/Wild crosses.  They are simply incredible.  They've spawned dozens of times - which is a very desirable trait for wild fish. They normally will not readily spawn with a domestic angelfish repeatedly.  Their fry are vigorous, fast growing and have incredible finnage and body shape.  This is the type of fish that is hard to appreciate until you have them in your tanks.  They are our favorite.

Their 6 week old offspring are in the video below. 50% are veils. Notice that 50% are Ghosts. The Platinum female has a Stripeless gene. Each of the offspring have one Blue gene. When you grow these up and breed them, you will get some blushing if you use two ghosts. 25% of the F2s should be Blue types. The wild blood ads a lot to these fish. Great bodies, fins and vigor. The wild also adds extra iridescence.

The below video is from a cross of Platinum to Albino Pearlscale. Each fish carries a gene for Blue, Pearlscale and Albino. The Ghosts have a Stripeless gene. Tremendous possibilities in the next generation. Notice their great finnage and vigorous, healthy feeding. These are incredible fish.
