We are now offering the finest linear air pumps available. Designed for large aquariums, fish rooms and hatcheries. The Alita air pumps are the quietest, most efficient linear aquarium air pump on the market. This is a super high quality air pump designed to operate continuously for many years. Alita pumps operate with super durable diaphragms that are easily and inexpensively replaced to keep the air pump always operating at its peak performance. Piston linear pumps have more costly piston replacement, which can never be restored to original performance. Diaphragm life on the Alita pumps is usually 3-5 years minimum, and can be inexpensively replaced in minutes. After the diaphragm replacement they will operate like new. Linear Piston pumps will wear on the cylinder wall and can never be repaired to operate like new. Be aware that not all diaphragms are created equal. These on the Alita pumps are the most durable you can buy.

Designed to deliver high volume of steady airflow at low-pressure ranges, these pumps are of high efficiency, low energy consumption and perform with low operation noise. With no sliding parts and oil-less components, ALITA air pumps requires no lubrication and transfer air without any contamination. These pumps are suitable for outdoor use with some protection from direct exposure to rain.

They also use less electricity than cheaper aquarium air pumps and comparable output linear piston pumps, saving you money on operating costs each month. You will practically have to put your ear on one of these aquarium air pumps to hear it. There are none quieter.

When considering which pump to get, consider the following. The average person finds that 1 liter minute airflow is more than adequate per outlet.  A tank depth of 12" is requires approximately .5 psi to get air to the very bottom. If you're mounting a Mag Filter off the bottom a few inches, you'll get even more outlets from your pump.  The deeper your tanks, the greater the psi needed, and it increases geometrically.  Notice that most of the pumps are rated at 2.18 psi which is the pressure at approximately 4.6 feet depth. Most aquarium outlets are substantially shallower, thus the pumps give substantially more air volume than the rating indicates at 2.18 psi.
