Won Submersible Heaters are the best value on the market in a submersible heater. They are very inexpensive and surprisingly reliable.

Hagen Reliant Top-Mount Heaters are great for long-term reliable use. This older technology is still very popular.  The heating units don't fail as often as most submersibles (they get too hot underwater and their electronic circuitry can't handle it).  You do have to remember not to lower the water below the heating element, or make sure the heater is off if you do.

The Titanium Heating Tube is a high-end heater. You can trust your valuable fish with a heating unit like this.  It is almost indestructible and in combination with the D-58 Controller it gives you the ultimate control over your aquarium's temperature. Do not use this titanium heating tube in an acrylic tank.

The D-58 Controller has a wide range of 32*F - 104*F making it great for controlling tank temperature for a heat-treatment against parasites. Heat treatments must reach 96*F to be effective and very few aquarium heaters are capable of holding this temperature accurately.  Electronic control with 2 readouts - one is the set-temperature, the other is the water temperature.
